Kathleen Holmgren is a seasoned executive with over 25 years of experience
in the storage, computer systems, and management consulting industries. As
Mendocino Software's CEO, Kathleen was responsible for the company's
vision, direction and operational management. As a Sun Microsystems Senior
VP/GM, Kathleen rapidly grew Sun's storage business in 3 years to a $1.5B
business. She was accountable for the development and implementation of
division's business strategies, product roadmaps, new product introductions,
and marketing activities, and led several acquisitions and forged strategic
alliances with key partners such as Hitachi Data Systems, LSI and Veritas.
Prior to her role in storage, Kathleen spent 11 years in the Operations group at
Sun managing and leading all aspects of worldwide logistics, plant
management, materials procurement, supply planning, process engineering,
and manufacturing plant design. Kathleen is currently a Director with the
Alliance of Chief Executives and has a BS in Industrial Engineering from
California Polytechnic State University, SLO, and holds her MBA from Stanford
University.
Ronald M. Lloyd is an award-winning VP of Operations and COO with 25
years of experience from early stage up to Fortune 150 companies. Most
recently, Ron was COO of Fat Spaniel Technologies, and prior to that VP of the
WhiteStar program at Tesla Motors. He spent 13 years at Sun Microsystems in
VP roles in Operations and the Network Storage Division. Ron moved from
"high tech" to "green tech" in the early 2000's, and has managed and led all
aspects of product development, new product introduction, material sourcing
and procurement, factory siting and construction, manufacturing,
subcontractor management, and quality system management. He has
managed systems implementations ranging from full ERP's to shop floor
controls systems, to workflow systems piggybacked on CRM's. Ron has a BSE
from Harvey Mudd College, and a MS Civil and Environmental Engineering
specializing in Alternative Energy from Stanford University.
